Nadia Lysykh will finish her duties this year by
notifying new 1st grade parents and replenishing the prize box. Our many thanks
to Nadia for her years of support to the Club with Box Tops and many other
projects. Possible parents to take over box tops: Danielle Carrier or Nancy
Wheeler. Any takers?
-
Teacher Appreciation Week 5/5.
Gina Brown and Robin Smith have everything in
hand and will be calling parents for support. A photo printer was purchased to
show our many thanks to our wonderful teachers! Thanks also to Gina and Robin
for taking this on again this year.

Fun Day will be June 11th all day.
There will be: a watermelon hunt (parents
needed to decorate 4 watermelons with clothes or other idea);
popcorn/veggies/dip/juice will be provided for snack; Fiddlers will come and
entertain with music and help with square dancing; the NH Audubon Society will
present a series on Frogs; and afternoon sundaes will be offered to all family
members who attend Fun Day. Weather permitting there will be a picnic bag lunch
that will be offered by the Mascenic Lunch Program for $1.75, or you can send in
a bag lunch with your child.
-
Playground Stage.
Tim Kearney gave a presentation on an idea for a 14X10 half
circle stage that would be placed near the two benches and the sand box. All in
attendance were happy with his idea and voted to go forward on getting some final
money figures and maybe a material and punch list of all that needs to be done
and how. Tim ambitiously volunteered to take this on. Parent help will be
needed this Summer via material, time and/or labor to complete this project. The
Club currently has $1,200 to get this project started. Thanks Tim.
-
Spring Concert is scheduled for April 15th.
It was decided that the gifts for
the music teacher, Mrs. Taber would be a Barnes & Noble gift card and a bouquet
of flowers. Thank you Cheryl for taking care of this. Cookies for the after
concert social will be provided by the first and second grade families; lemonade
(can we do coffee too???) by the third grade parent and paper goods by the fourth
grade families.
-
